Each pearl needs to be screened for at least 4 times, before they come to you.
1. Pearl farms select the higher quality pearls, the ones that can be used for jewelry making
2. pearl factory purchases the pearls and screen the top 3% for us
3. our pearl selection team choose only the top 10% from these great quality pearls
4. pearls are sent to our craftsman, who need to match the pearls to form strands. To qualify as a strand craftsman, they need to have at least 5 years of experience, as the colours of the pearls that could form a strand must be consistent and in harmony.

In other words, we only take the premium 0.3% of pearls within Japan.
Part of the strands have been certified, and the rest can be sent to get Hanadama certificate as well.
